Direktur Relawan Tim Kampanye Nasional atau Timses Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin, Maman Imanulhaq, pastikan pertolongan ke Palu tidak akan mengikutkan atribut kampanye.
Hal tersebut dikatakan Maman menaggapi imbauan Komisi Penentuan Umum (KPU) supaya peserta pemilu tidak mengikutkan atribut kampanye waktu memberi pertolongan pada korban bencana alam, terutamanya di Palu, Sulawesi Tengah.
“Dalam rapat tempo hari kami putuskan ini tindakan kemanusiaan menjadi tidak ada labeling relawan Jokowi-Ma’ruf. Kami cuma fasilitasi penggalangan, fasilitasi orang yang miliki sertifikasi untuk terjun. Saya jamin tidak ada bendera, lat peraga kampanye dan lain-lain,” kata Maman di Posko Cemara, Menteng, Jakarta, Selasa (2/10/2018).

Menurutnya, semenjak awal, timnya berusaha menghadapi timbulnya kampanye terselubung dalam menolong korba gempa serta tsunami di Palu.
Ia juga jamin pemberian pertolongan pada korban gempa serta tsunami di Sulawesi Tengah benar-benar tidak memakai sarana negara. “Salah satunya diskusi kami di crisis center ialah malah kami menghindari beberapa relawan yang hadir memberi Indomie dua bungkus lantas selfie. Kami ingin pastikan jika ini ialah misi kemanusiaan,” lanjut dia.
Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) mengimbau peserta Pemilu 2019 tidak untuk jadikan bencana alam menjadi komoditas politik. Imbauan itu berkaitan gempa serta tsunami yang menempa Kota Palu serta Kabupaten Donggala, Sulawesi Tengah, Jumat (28/9/2018).
Komoditas politik yang disebut, contohnya, memberi pertolongan kemanusiaan pada korban gempa serta tsunami, tapi dibarengi dengan embel-embel serta atribut politik dengan tujuan kampanye terselubung.
“Berkaitan dengan pertolongan pada korban bencana alam, janganlah jadikan komoditas politik. Dipersilahkan memberi pertolongan kemanusiaan, tapi tiada diembel-embeli oleh kebutuhan politik,” kata Wahyu di kantor KPU, Menteng, Jakarta Pusat, Selasa (2/10/2018).
